She was very passionate for dancing even when she was a kid. She learnt ballet, modern dance and jazz for 13 years. She always wanted to become a dancer, but it was because of her knee injury that she had to give up dancing and pursue acting as her career.She is best known for her television series acting for Angel as Winifred Burkle and Illyria, on Alias as Kelly Peyton, and on Dollhouse as Dr. Claire Saunders/Whiskey.
She started her modelling career when she was in college. She did many modelling shows at that time. She also won the Leon Rabin award for "Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role" for her performance in Therese Raquin.
