Deepika Padukone is an Indian supermodel turned actor who appears in Bollywood movies.
Deepika Padukone, daughter of celebrated badminton player Prakash Padukone, is one of the most preferred models in India. She is trained Bharatanatyam dancer has always been attracted to the glamour world.

Deepika started modelling as a child, doing TV and print campaigns for several brands but discontinued later to concentrate on studies. She was a state-level badminton player while in school.

Padukone is currently working on Nikhil Advani's Chandni Chowk To China opposite Akshay Kumar.
